Tomáš Salomon

Tomáš Salomon is a graduate of Faculty of Economics of Services and Tourism of Slovak University of Economics in Bratislava. He started banking career in 1997 at GE Capital Multiservis where he worked as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO. In 2000 he was appointed Director of Retail Banking and Member of the Board of Directors at GE Capital Bank with responsibility for Sales and Marketing. In the years 2004-2007 he worked as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Poštová Banka, a.s. in Slovakia. In the period 2008 to 2012 he focused on private investment projects and initiated a project for the formation of a platform for the realization of mobile payments in the Czech republic and participated in the establishment of Mopet CZ where he worked as a Member of the Board of Directors and CEO. In 2013 he began working in Slovenská sporiteľňa where he was later appointed Member of the Board of Directors responsible for Retail. Since January 2015 Mr Salomon has been a Member of the Board of Directors of Česká spořitelna. He took over the position of CEO in January 2016.
