Dita Formánková is a social entrepreneur and leading European voice on lifelong learning, digital skills, and inclusive leadership. She founded Czechitas (2013), one of Europe’s most impactful gender-inclusion tech nonprofits, empowering over 100,000 women and youth through digital education, advocacy, and systemic change. As Founder and Non-Executive Director, she focuses on long-term strategy, public policy, and scaling systemic impact.
She serves on the Executive Board of Nadace České spořitelny, overseeing lifelong learning and adult upskilling initiatives, and co-founded the Inspire & Impact Network, supporting women leaders, where she leads community, technology, and impact strategy.
Since 2016, Dita has been an independent Digital Skills & Lifelong Learning Expert, advising governments, corporations, and international institutions on upskilling, reskilling, and education system transformation. She is a member of the Czech Government’s Interdepartmental Committee for Digital Education and sits on advisory boards including Česko.Digital.
Previously, as Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Communities at Avast (2020–2023), she led the company’s first global D&I strategy, achieving measurable progress in representation, pay equity, and employee belonging.
Her work in education, gender equality, and civic innovation has earned numerous awards, including the Silver Medal of the Czech Senate, European Citizen’s Prize, Forbes 30 Under 30, SXSW Community Service Award, and TOP EU 100 Women in Social Entrepreneurship. She is also an alumna and contributor to the Aspen Institute.
